Artist's Description

During an evening safari in South Africa, our small group stopped to allow others to shoot the sunset, then adjust focus in the opposite direction to capture a full moon. As I was maneuvering for the 'right' view — is there a wrong view of a sunset? — I noticed a person simply, yet profoundly contemplating the wonders of nature. That she is my spouse, Sandy, transformed a classic savannah sunset image into an suprisingly intimate portrait.
